This is a guide for beginners of ASSURE, in this article you will find a summary of the system, a quick idea of the modules covered & links to some my learning training that will advise you how the system is to be used.


What is ASSURE?

ASSURE is a cloud-based software to replace Civica.  ASSURE is used to manage and support Environmental Protection, Community Safety, Food and Safety, Licensing, Private Sector Housing, Healthy Homes and Contact and Support.


What Are the Benefits of ASSURE?

The primary benefit of ASSURE is that it is a Cloud Based Application, meaning that you can access ASSURE from an internet enabled device, including a mobile phone or tablet. Cloud based software has lots of benefits to CCC and is a core strategy for managing our IT systems.

Introduction to ASSURE - this course will give you a brief introduction to ASSURE and what the system covers, please complete this course first.

Creating and progressing worksheets - this course will provide you with what you need to know in order to complete worksheets, your line manager will have more specific training guides for the tasks you are to complete.

Letter production - creating letters in ASSURE is very different to creating letters in civica as it has its own NCS editor which looks like word but is not the same, therefore this training will help you to better understand how to create and send out letters.

Managing contacts - to manage contacts in the system you will need to partake in this training as handling personal information can be sensitive. There is also functionality to create alerts in ASSURE, if you need to create or edit an alert please raise a fresh service ticket and the system team will do this for you.

Reporting - ASSURE has its own reporting system which has standard reports and ad hoc queries created by the systems team, for more information please complete the training.
