- Go to DP - Letter Templates, either create or find the template you want to add the sub-tabs too.
- In the letter template details page you will see a drop down called 'Sub Tab Application Type' from which you can pick the correct sub tab. Then click save in the bottom right corner of this page. (If you don't do this the sub tab fields won't be available when you go into the template)
- Find the template again as after you save the page will go back to ASSURE home and edit the template, all sub tab merge fields will be at the bottom of the merge field list on the left hand side of your page, if they're not here you need to follow the above steps again.
- If you wish to enter the heading or question of the sub tab this will be SUBTABLABEL.
- For the answer you will need to enter SUBTABDATA.
- Once you've added the subtabs you want, save and exit.
- Then find or create a worksheet that relates to that subtab to test the template and make sure that its pulling through.
Please note: Do NOT test a template with a subtab on a worksheet that doesn't include the subtabs, this will not pull through anything or send the template to DP Error.
