Live Desktop - How to Connect (CBC Users)

Initial Setup

Only required to be set up once

Please be aware that you must have your Microsoft Authenticator App setup on your smartphone associated with your work account. You can follow the below-linked article to get this set up if you have not already.

Microsoft Autenticator Setup

CBH users will need to download and place the below file on the desktop of their device

Remote Connection File

  • Click Download
  • Depending on your browser, locate the download popup and click Save As
  • Select to save it on your Desktop
  • If you wish, give it an appropriate name such as "CBH Live Desktop"

Remote Connecting

  • Once saved to your desktop, simply double-click the icon

  • When prompted, click on Connect
    • Optionally, you can stick the option for "Don't ask me again for connections to this computer" to prevent this from showing each time you remote connect

  • When prompted, enter your full email address as your username and then your password for your account
  • When prompted, tap Approve on the Microsoft Authenticator App on your smartphone associated with your account
  • Your Live Desktop should then load

Signing Out

Once you're finished for the day with your Live Desktop, it's vital that you sign out the correct way, otherwise this may cause issues with your session the next time you attempt to sign in or remote connect to it.

  • Click the Start Button
  • Click the icon which looks like a person as shown below

  • Click Sign Out

This should fully sign you out of your Live Desktop and the Wyse Terminal will shut down.
