Introduction
If you need to log into one of the old Wyse Terminals in the office, follow the below guidelines as it works a little differently to Officer 365. Wyse Terminals should soon be phased out and replaced with personal laptops.
Signing In
- Turn on the Wyse Terminal using the main power button on the front
- You should then see the below screen after approximately 30 seconds
- Enter your full email address into the username field
- Enter your account password into the password field
- This is the same password you would use to log into Office 365
- Hit the Enter key on your keyboard
- Nothing needs to be entered into the domain field
- You should now see the castle background as seen below
- Click on the Live Desktop icon at the top left-hand side of the screen
Signing Out
Once you're finished for the day with your Live Desktop, it's vital that you sign out the correct way, otherwise this may cause issues with your session the next time you attempt to sign in or remote connect to it.
- Click the Start Button
- Click the icon which looks like a person as shown below
- Click Sign Out
This should fully sign you out of your Live Desktop and the Wyse Terminal will shut down.
