If you have a CCC or CBH issued laptop, you can reset your own password (as long as you know your current one) on your laptop via the Microsoft 365 portal:
- Log into your Microsoft 365 account - https://portal.office.com
- Click on your name in the bottom-left on the screen
- Click View Account
· Under the password section, click Change Password
- Type in your old password
- Type in a new password twice for confirmation
- Passwords need to be complex and include a minimum of 8 characters along with uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. We suggest using three words, symbols and numbers as per Three random words - NCSC.GOV.UK.
- Try and make it something you will remember and don't attempt to use the same password or something too close to the old. This site can help you generate three random words - Correct Horse Battery Staple | Generate Secure Memorable Passwords
- Click Submit
