We have had reports that staff are getting errors from their laptop browser (Edge) when attempting to access OneDrive, even though it still works using File Explorer.


We suspect that this is due to a change made in the background by Microsoft, but can be quickly fixed without much trouble.



This is an example of the issue and error which you will likely get:


 

 


To fix this open a new Edge browser tab and paste in to the URL bar the following:


edge://settings/content/cookies/siteData 

Then hit the <Return> key to action


In the search box add the text     colch-my

Followed by pressing <Return> key to action


Click on the button Remove all shown 

 

 

 Then accept the prompt "Clear site data" by clicking on Clear


 


This should have fixed the issue, you should be able to simply refresh the previously errored OneDrive browser tab

 

 


And it'll work!
