Introduction
When screensharing in the new Microsoft Teams, you may have noticed the new sharing bar does not automatically disappear after some time as it did in Teams Classic. This can hamper presentations by obscuring parts of the screen such as a browser tab you want to click.
These are the annoying bars in question, which only show up when you click at the top of the screen and then won't go away!
Following this tip removes both! #winning!
Fix - how to remove the sharing bar
It is still possible to remove the bar but you have to do so in each screensharing session. The steps to close the bar without ending the call or ending the active screenshare are detailed below.
1. Hover over the Teams icon in your Taskbar:
2. Move the mouse up to the preview window that pops up just above containing the sharing bar:
3. Close the sharing bar window using the red X box at the top right of the window preview titled "Sharing control bar"

In all seriously, I just discovered that while presenting and sharing bar present
Both <ALT>+<F4> or <CTRL>+<W> also kills the window too, although only for that sharing session.
You can now drag the sharing toolbar, by selecting it with a mouse and dragging it (as shown below), it can even be re-located on to a different screen and that position is saved across sharing sessions!
