Introduction
The S106 database is a specific Access database that can be accessed via your Live Desktop environment situated in Cloud Apps. Assuming you have the required permissions to access the database and software, you can use the following instructions to create a link on your desktop, should you not already have one.
If you're unsure of your account credentials for signing in to the database, please email [email protected] for a username and password.
Instructions
- Sign in to Office 365 if you have not already
- Navigate to Cloud Apps
- Sign in if prompted
- Click on Live Desktop
- Enter your main account credentials

If you do not already see a shortcut, perform the following

Right-click and copy the below line to your clipboard
- \\cbcazfs010\accessplannings106

Right-click and copy the below line to your clipboard

Open File Explorer
- Use the Folder icon in the taskbar
- Click once in the address bar along the top
- Right-click and click Paste
- Hit Enter on the keyboard
- Right-Click the S106 database (Win 10) shortcut
- Hover over Send To
- Click Desktop (Create Shortcut)
Access & Troubleshooting
You should now see the shortcut appear on your desktop. You can then use that shortcut to direct straight into the S106 database. If you don't have the required credentials as mentioned in the introduction, contact [email protected] and they can provide you with credentials to access the database. If you still experience issues or don't receive a prompt for the credentials, contact the ICT via the Helpdesk Portal and we can check your permissions to the software and database from our side.
