Webcam & Microphone

Your laptop or desktop PC should automatically pick up the microphone and webcam of your device. If it doesn't please try the following steps to rectify the issue.

You currently cannot use Microsoft Teams in your Windows 10 session. This is the version of Windows you are used to seeing in the office on the Wyse Terminals.

  • Check that your volume is enabled if you cannot hear other people

  • Go to your Settings by clicking the Start Button, typing in Settings and clicking on the option when it appears
  • Click on the Privacy option
  • Check that permission has been given to your Camera and Microphone

  • Go back to Teams
  • Click on the Meet Now option
  • Click on the Devices option
  • Make sure that your microphone and camera are being detected

You should be all set for a Teams meeting which can be done via the Meet Now option or by setting meetings up, having them posted into a specific channel and join them from there when the time comes.
