Check Wi-Fi Connection
- Using the LED display on the printer, tab the Wifi Button
- Check that the corporate network Wifi is turned off
- Tap on the IP address as shown below
- If it displays as turned off, then leave it as is
- If the wireless is currently on, click on the settings cog at the bottom left of the display
- Tap on the Wireless Settings option and set the Wifi as off
- Now exit the menu once confirmed the Wifi is disabled
- Tap on the Wifi option again at the main menu of the display
- Tap on the Wifi Direct printer option as shown below
- Check the status of the Wifi Direct and ensure that it's enabled
- If it's not enabled, turn it on
- Return to the home screen
Add Print via Wi-Fi Direct (Laptop)
If a print device already exists on the device which is not needed, remove it using the following steps:
- Press the Windows key on the keyboard
- Start typing Print and select Devices And Printers from the options which appear
- From the lost which shows, click on any listed printers you do not need and click Remove Device
- Once the old device has been removed, click on the plus symbol and add a printer or device
- You will see the following printer or after a short time, an option for Show Wi-Fi Direct Printers
- Click on the device when found and click Add Device
- Now you will be asked for an 8 digit code which should be displayed on the printers LED display
- Enter the code and the laptop should do the rest for you, allowing you to now print to the device
