Check Wi-Fi Connection


  • Using the LED display on the printer, tab the Wifi Button


       


  • Check that the corporate network Wifi is turned off
  • Tap on the IP address as shown below


       


  • If it displays as turned off, then leave it as is
  • If the wireless is currently on, click on the settings cog at the bottom left of the display


       


  • Tap on the Wireless Settings option and set the Wifi as off


       

       


  • Now exit the menu once confirmed the Wifi is disabled
  • Tap on the Wifi option again at the main menu of the display
  • Tap on the Wifi Direct printer option as shown below


       


  • Check the status of the Wifi Direct and ensure that it's enabled
  • If it's not enabled, turn it on
  • Return to the home screen



Add Print via Wi-Fi Direct (Laptop)


If a print device already exists on the device which is not needed, remove it using the following steps:


  • Press the Windows key on the keyboard
  • Start typing Print and select Devices And Printers from the options which appear
  • From the lost which shows, click on any listed printers you do not need and click Remove Device


       


  • Once the old device has been removed, click on the plus symbol and add a printer or device
  • You will see the following printer or after a short time, an option for Show Wi-Fi Direct Printers


       


  • Click on the device when found and click Add Device
  • Now you will be asked for an 8 digit code which should be displayed on the printers LED display


       


  • Enter the code and the laptop should do the rest for you, allowing you to now print to the device
