Introduction


Are you tired of the old days of emailing the [email protected] email address to Konica printers when using your laptop? Then fear not! We have a new piece of software which should make life a lot easier. Simply install the following software using the steps down below and you will have the ability to select Konica on the go. Once you get into the office, you can hop over to a Konica printer, tap in your PIN and your print jobs will appear as normal ready for printing.


Download Software


Please be aware that all Connect laptops should already come with the ability to print to Konica printers built in. Go to the section "Printing to Konica" for more detail.



Installation


  • Download the required Windows installer from the link above
  • Once the above link loads, click Download
    • Ignore the warning about previewing the file
  • Wait for the download to finish
    • If using Chrome or Edge, the download should appear at the bottom of the screen
    • If using another browser, navigate to your Downloads folder to locate the downloaded file
  • Assuming you're using Chrome, click on the file at the bottom of the screen once the download has completed
  • If you receive a warning "Windows protected your PC", click the option More Info and then click Run Anyway
  • Allow it to perform its magic for approximately 5 minutes
    • It may take longer on older devices
  • Once complete, the installer should disappear



Printing to Konica


You should now see the option to print with Konica whenever you go to print something as shown below


       


After clikcing print and confirming your print options, YSoft should appear asking for your credetials


  • Type in your PIN used for using the Konica printers in the office
  • Click Login


       


You should now see your print request in your print queue the next time you log in on a Konica printer in the office.



Troubleshooting



If for any reason nothing happens when you click print and confirm, try the following fixes:

  • Double-check your PIN on your ID badge, placing a 0 on the start to make it six digits if need be
  • Restart your machine
  • Locate the YSoft symbol in your taskbar, right-click it and select Restart FlexiSpooler components
